I started with flex vinyl — it offered a lot of possibilities and, most importantly, durability, but it quickly showed its limitations. Sublimation gave me more freedom, but it was still plastic, and that didn’t feel right to me.
Then came linocut, because I’ve always liked experimenting and asking myself, “Can it be done?”
The search never really stopped. I dreamed of trying screen printing — at home, on the kitchen table, with paint ending up everywhere it shouldn’t. Plenty of chaos, but also a lot of satisfaction.
And finally, I discovered DTG digital printing — excellent colour reproduction, smooth tonal transitions, and durability.
Today, I design with all of these techniques in mind — depending on the needs and character of each design — but digital printing gives me the greatest freedom.
That’s where I find my balance between precision and spontaneity.
